Fisher's products measure and control the flow, temperature and pressure of liquids for the chemical, oil and gas, paper and food processing industries. The deal is the latest in a string of deals broadening Emerson's base as provider of a wide variety of industrial and commercial equipment and narrowing Monsanto's focus.
