The client problem

Why companies pay for this service

These are operational failures that consume time, increase uncertainty or delay a commercial decision.

  • The overseas buyer cannot travel to Britain before a payment or delivery deadline.
  • Remote photographs do not provide sufficient confidence about premises, visible stock or packing status.
  • A supplier has stopped responding clearly after receiving an order.
  • Technical and commercial open points are easier to settle in a face-to-face meeting.
  • The buyer needs an independent written record of what was visible on a specific date.

Defined activity

What Impro actually does

Every assignment is based on observable work and agreed outputs, not broad consultancy language.

Visit planning

We agree the location, contact, purpose, permitted activities, required evidence and reporting deadline before travel.

Premises attendance

Our representative attends the confirmed UK address and records the date, contact person and stated business purpose.

Visible stock observation

Where permitted, we observe visible quantity, labels, model references, serial information, packaging and stated condition.

Photographs and video

We collect visual evidence only where the supplier permits it and privacy or security rules allow.

Packing observation

We record visible packing status, labels, quantities and collection readiness without certifying export packing.

Open-point discussion

We discuss agreed commercial or documentary questions with the supplier and record its answers.

Progress observation

For active orders, we record visible milestones and stated completion dates without controlling production.

Visit report

The client receives observations, supplier statements, photographs where allowed, unresolved issues and recommended next steps.

Controlled workflow

How the service works

The scope, authority and cost are agreed before chargeable work begins.

01

Purpose definition

You state exactly what decision the visit must support.

02

Supplier permission

The supplier confirms access, timing, contact person and allowed photography.

03

Fee and travel approval

We confirm the service fee, travel estimate and any third-party cost before attendance.

04

Physical visit

The representative follows the agreed checklist and avoids activities outside scope.

05

Same-day update

Urgent findings can be communicated promptly after leaving the location.

06

Written report

A structured report and available evidence are issued within the agreed period.

Buyer questions

Frequently asked questions

Direct answers to the commercial and operational questions clients normally ask before appointment.

Can you visit any UK supplier?

Only when the supplier agrees, the address is accessible and the scope, fee and travel are approved.

Will you take photographs?

Where the supplier permits. Some factories and warehouses restrict photography for safety, confidentiality or security reasons.

Is your visit an inspection certificate?

No. It is a commercial observation report unless a qualified inspection body is separately appointed.

Can you test the product?

Only simple visible checks specifically agreed and permitted. Functional, electrical, pressure, material or destructive tests require qualified specialists.

Can you attend before we make payment?

Yes. The report can support your decision, but it cannot eliminate all commercial risk.

Who pays travel?

The client approves and funds travel and any third-party cost in advance or under the written engagement terms.

Can you visit during production?

Yes, if the supplier permits access. We report visible progress and supplier statements but do not control production.

How quickly is the report issued?

The expected delivery time is agreed before the visit. An urgent initial update may be followed by the complete report.
