The client problem

Why companies pay for this service

These are operational failures that consume time, increase uncertainty or delay a commercial decision.

  • Suppliers receive incomplete descriptions and return incomparable or incorrect quotations.
  • Photographs, drawings, datasheets and nameplate information are scattered across several emails.
  • Suppliers ask repeated questions because a single clarification record does not exist.
  • Equivalent offers hide deviations in material, dimensions, ratings, certification or included accessories.
  • Commercial staff need engineering information organised without pretending to provide engineering approval.

Defined activity

What Impro actually does

Every assignment is based on observable work and agreed outputs, not broad consultancy language.

We consolidate item descriptions, quantities, service conditions, drawings, datasheets, photographs and required documents.

Nameplate-data extraction

We transcribe readable manufacturer, model, serial, rating and certification information from supplied images.

Drawing and datasheet register

We create a controlled list of reference documents so suppliers know which revision and attachment apply.

Supplier question list

We collect technical questions, remove duplication and issue a clear clarification request to the client.

Answer coordination

We transmit authorised client answers and maintain a dated clarification record.

Deviation tracking

We record differences between the requested specification and each supplier offer.

Document-gap identification

We identify missing drawings, test certificates, declarations, material records, manuals or compliance documents.

Buyer questions

Frequently asked questions

Direct answers to the commercial and operational questions clients normally ask before appointment.

Are you acting as an engineer?

No. We organise and coordinate technical information. Final engineering judgement remains with qualified client personnel.

Can you work from old drawings?

Yes, but the client must confirm the applicable revision and whether the installed equipment has been modified.

Can you extract data from a nameplate photograph?

Yes, where the image is readable. Unclear characters are marked as uncertain rather than guessed.

Can you identify an equivalent item?

We can coordinate possible equivalent offers and deviations. The client engineer must approve compatibility.

What documents should accompany an RFQ?

Available datasheets, drawings, photos, model and serial information, service conditions, required certificates, quantity, delivery point and deadline.

Will you answer supplier technical questions?

We organise and transmit answers authorised by the client. We do not invent technical information.

Can this service reduce wrong quotations?

A clearer enquiry normally reduces ambiguity, but suppliers remain responsible for their offers and the client remains responsible for approval.

Can you support a single drawing-based part?

Yes. The assignment can be limited to one item or cover a larger multi-item package.
